Sanka Talent Listing Policy
Effective: October 26, 2026
Operator: Sanka Inc. (株式会社サンカ), 1-3-2 Toyosu, Koto-ku, Tokyo, Japan ("Sanka," "we," "us")
This policy explains which jobs Sanka Talent ("Talent") lists, how we keep them accurate and current, how often we collect them, what decides the order they appear in, and how to ask for a correction or removal or make a complaint. In Japan it is the information that Article 43-6 of the Employment Security Act (職業安定法) and Article 31-4 of its Enforcement Regulations ask job information providers to publish.
1. What Sanka Talent is
- Talent is a free job board for roles in the IT organisations of end companies in the United States and Japan. It is for CIOs and Heads of IT hiring for their teams, and for the people who want those jobs.
- Talent provides information about job openings (募集情報等提供). Every job links to the employer's own apply page. Applications go directly to the employer.
- Talent does not introduce job seekers to employers, recommend or scout candidates, take part in selection, or receive applications. It is not a recruitment agency.
- Talent's pages collect no information about job seekers (section 8). Sanka CIO Daily, Sanka's e-mail newsletter, sends subscribers who agreed to receive job information a short list of Talent jobs, and a subscriber's e-mail address counts as information about a job seeker. Sanka has therefore notified the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, under Article 43-2 of the Employment Security Act, that it carries on a 特定募集情報等提供事業.
- Talent charges nothing to employers or job seekers, and never offers job seekers cash, gift cards or other rewards for using it or for being hired.
2. Which jobs we list
Only end-company IT roles. We list roles in a company's own IT organisation: IT leadership, enterprise applications, cloud and infrastructure, data and AI, cybersecurity, and in-house IT roles such as 社内SE and 情報システム部門 roles. The employer must be the company that will employ the person.
Not listed. Roles posted by or for system integrators (SIer), SES and IT outsourcing firms, consultancies, staffing and dispatch agencies, or recruitment agencies; roles that place the person at a client's site; freelance or independent-contractor engagements; and anything that asks applicants for money.
Where jobs come from. Every job has one of three sources, shown on the job page:
Source Label on the job page How it reaches Talent Sanka Flow "Posted by employer via Sanka Flow" The employer publishes a job from its Sanka Flow workspace Direct "Posted by employer" A person at the employer who verified their work e-mail address submits the job on Talent's free form Employer careers page "From employer's careers page" Sanka collects it from the employer's own careers page or the public job feed of the employer's applicant tracking system, without a request from the employer Only from employers. We collect jobs only from employers' own careers pages and their applicant tracking systems' public job feeds. We never collect from job boards or job media, we follow each site's robots.txt and rate limits, and we do not collect from sites whose terms forbid it.
Review. Sanka reviews every job before it is first published. We reject jobs that are not end-company IT roles, that we cannot connect to the employer, that look false or misleading, or whose wording unlawfully excludes or prefers applicants by sex, age, race, nationality, citizenship, religion, disability or another protected characteristic.
Pay in the United States. A direct or Sanka Flow job that can be performed in the United States, including a remote job open to people living there, must state a good-faith minimum and maximum pay. We do not list any job that can be performed in New York City, including a remote job open to people living there, unless it states a pay range.
3. How each job is shown
- Jobs posted by the employer (Sanka Flow and direct) show the employer's full description.
- Jobs from an employer's careers page show the facts (title, employer, location, remote type, employment type, category, skills, and pay if the employer published it), an excerpt of up to 280 characters of the employer's description, and a link to apply on the employer's site. The full description appears only if the employer agrees or posts the job itself.
- No changes to substance. We keep the employer's job title, duties, pay, location and conditions as the employer published them. We may assign a category and skills, and fix layout. We do not translate jobs: each job is shown in the language the employer wrote it in.
- Pay. We show pay only when the employer published it. We never estimate pay.
- Dates. Every job page shows the job's posted date and when we last confirmed it, as "Verified N days ago" (section 4).
- Employer pages show only what the employer says about itself (name, logo, industry, headquarters, careers page) and its open roles on Talent.
4. How we keep jobs accurate and current
- Collection frequency. We collect and update jobs from employers' careers pages and job feeds once a day. Jobs published from Sanka Flow update within minutes of a change in Flow.
- Daily check. Once a day we also check every listed job: that the job is still in the employer's feed or on its careers page, or, for direct jobs, that the apply link still works.
- "Verified N days ago." Each job shows how long ago it last passed that check ("Verified today", "Verified 2 days ago").
- Expiry. A job expires when it leaves the employer's feed or careers page, when the employer closes it, when its closing date passes, or when its apply link fails the daily check twice in a row.
- Expired jobs. An expired job's page says that the role is no longer accepting applications, shows similar open roles, leaves the job list and our sitemap at once, and loses its search-engine job markup. We also ask search engines to drop it from their job listings. After 90 days the page is removed.
- Employers tell us about changes. We ask employers who post jobs to tell us at once when a job is filled, closed or changed. Jobs published from Sanka Flow follow the job in Flow automatically.
- When we find an error. If we confirm that a job is not accurate or not current, we stop showing it without delay, and in any case within one business day, and ask the employer whether it wants to correct it.
5. The order in which jobs appear
- Job list and search results. Newest first, by the job's posted date. Keyword search and filters (category, country, remote type, employment type, language, posted date) narrow the list; they do not change the order.
- Employer pages. The employer's open roles, newest first.
- "Similar roles" on a job's page: open jobs in the same category, newest first.
- The Talent home page shows the latest open roles, newest first.
- Sanka CIO Daily. Each issue's "Today's jobs" section lists up to five open roles approved in the previous seven days: roles in the United States in the English edition, and roles in Japan in the Japanese edition. Jobs posted by the employer (Sanka Flow and direct) come first, then other jobs; within each group, newest first, with at most one job per employer. The section goes only to subscribers who agreed, when they signed up, to receive job information, and all of them in an edition get the same list.
- What does not affect the order.
- Payment. No employer pays Sanka to be listed or to appear higher. Whether an employer uses or pays for any Sanka product, including Sanka Flow, does not affect its jobs' order.
- You. Talent collects nothing about individual visitors, and Sanka CIO Daily sends the same jobs to every subscriber of an edition who receives the section, so your own browsing, location or profile never affects what you see.
6. Corrections and removal
Who can ask. The employer, a person who submitted the job, or anyone whose own information appears in a job can ask us to correct a job or stop showing it. Anyone can tell us that a job looks inaccurate, closed, fake or unlawful.
How. Use the "Report this job" link on any job page, or e-mail
hey@sanka.com. Tell us which job and what is wrong.Within one business day of receiving a request or report, we:
- stop showing the job or correct it, when the employer, the submitter or a person whose own information appears in it asks;
- for any other report, check the job against the employer's careers page or feed or with the employer, and stop showing it until it is confirmed if we cannot confirm it.
A business day is a weekday other than a public holiday in Japan or 29 December to 3 January, in Japan time.
Employers whose careers page we collect from can ask us to stop. We then remove the employer's jobs within one business day and stop collecting from its careers page and feeds. The employer can instead post its jobs itself, to show full descriptions.
Jobs published from Sanka Flow can also be changed or closed in Flow; Talent follows within minutes.
7. Complaints
- Contact. Complaints about Talent, from job seekers, employers, recruiters, employment
agencies or anyone else, go to
hey@sanka.com. - Handling. The Sanka Talent team logs every complaint, replies within one business day to confirm we received it, and handles it promptly. Where a complaint concerns a job, we follow section 6. Where an employer's job seems to break the law, we ask the employer to correct it and stop showing it until it does.
- Outcome. We tell the person who complained what we did, unless they asked not to be contacted or did not give a way to reach them.
8. Information about job seekers
- Talent has no job-seeker accounts, saved searches, personalised job alerts, applications, personalised ranking or recommendations, and no advertising or third-party analytics tags on its pages.
- To know which jobs are useful, we count page views and clicks on "Apply" for each job and each employer per day. These counts are not linked to any visitor. We do not use cookies or store IP addresses or device identifiers for them.
- Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, page and time) for a limited period for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to decide which jobs to show anyone.
- When you apply, you leave Talent for the employer's own apply page. What you give the employer there is governed by the employer's privacy notice, not Sanka's.
- If you send us a report or complaint, we use your contact details only to handle it. The Sanka Talent Privacy Notice explains this.
- Sanka CIO Daily. If you subscribe to Sanka CIO Daily, Sanka holds your e-mail address and newsletter settings to send it, including its "Today's jobs" section if you agreed to receive job information, as its signup page and the Sanka Privacy Policy explain. Sanka does not give subscribers' information to employers and does not link it to visits to Talent's pages. Subscribing is separate from using Talent.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its date. If we add a factor that affects the order of jobs, we update section 5 before the change takes effect. Talent is free: no employer pays to be listed or to appear higher.
